Meet the Team
Lucy O’Brien
Covering the South of Lincolnshire.
My career has always focussed on helping people realise their full potential. I began in Human Resources within the food industry, where I gained comprehensive experience in all aspects of HR. In 2011, I transitioned into the education sector, working as a Work Experience Manager and Careers Adviser in a secondary school.
Collaborating closely with employers, I have successfully placed many students into meaningful work experience opportunities, enabling them to develop essential skills and prepare for their future careers. As a Level 6-qualified Careers Guidance Practitioner, I also provide 1:1 career guidance, helping individuals better understand themselves and achieve their career aspirations.
In my role as an IAG & Progression Officer, I find immense satisfaction in supporting others to grow and reach their full potential.
Suzanne Tomlinson
Covering the North of Lincolnshire.
My IAG journey began in 2007, offering Information, Advice, and Guidance to learners in a custodial setting. In 2022, I changed employer and moved to the NHS, where I worked with the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service in Lincoln, helping individuals experiencing mental ill health secure employment.
Now, as an IAG & Progression Officer with Lincolnshire County Council, I continue to improve career prospects and secure meaningful employment for others. My passion for helping people has driven my career across various public-facing roles, from customer services to aviation, finance, and education. Throughout my journey, I have consistently focussed on improving lives and making a positive impact in the community.
At any stage of your learning journey, whether starting fresh or planning your next career move, our dedicated team provides personalised guidance to help you achieve your goals.
